Grants   


Purpose: To fund grant requests that will enrich and support the learning experience of Inglemoor High School students. 

Guidelines:

  • The maximum funding potential is $1500 per grant request. 
  • Request for funds must be submitted prior to purchases being made to be considered. Funds are not retroactively granted.
  • Grants may not be carried over to a subsequent school year. 
  • For grants benefitting a group with a booster program, the booster program must pay for 50% of the total amount.
  • Past approval does not guarantee repeat approval.    

Process:

  1. Complete the grant application form.
  2. Obtain approval for the grant from Principal Desautels via signature or via email. 
  3. Submit either the digital or scanned form via email (no paper forms) to Erin Schultz: et_phone@hotmail.com AND Genoveva Marin: Genoveva.marin@bastyr.edu
  4. The grant request will be shared with the grants committee, consisting of the VP(s) of Grants and at least one PTSA member. 
  5. The request will be reviewed and voted on.  Considerations in determining whether the grant request will be approved include the potential benefit to students, the number of students who will benefit, available funds, and other potential funding sources such as booster programs. 
  6. The requestor will be notified by email whether the grant request is approved or rejected, typically within 2 weeks of submission.  Instructions for reimbursement for approved grants will be communicated. 
  7. Receipts must be submitted to the PTSA treasurer within 10 days of expenditure.
